Press + Forge was established in 1993 with the intention of servicing the pressing and allied industries. Over the years, in line with the changing face of British manufacturing we have diversified in to other areas of sheet metal working, these now include; Slitting Lines and Tooling, Cut to Length Lines, Particulate Removal from Strip or Blanks, Roll Forming Lines including Flying Cut Off, Welding, and Roll Forming Tooling. However, we still cover the original area where we began; Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses, Strip and Blank Lubrication, Decoiler, Levellers and Servo Roll Feeds, Precision Levellers and Quick Die Change Equipment. Silac have a patented felt pressure pad system for use on slitting line tension stands and produce a wide range of felt types and thicknesses for this purpose.
